Ready to Go Home Before I Go Broke

Well, we are still waiting on ICPC. We found out yesterday that Utah had overnighted our paperwork to our home state and now we wait for he verbal.?

While I have really enjoyed and appreciated all this time with my DH and our son. I might go broke. There is only so much to do holed up in a hotel so I have been buying a LOT of cloth diapers online. The expensive ones too. DH seems to roll with it because he knows I'm getting cabin fever. Not to mention I had a lot of packages arriving while we have been gone. Our neighbors have been grabbing the packages and it is getting humorous. Oh dear.

I'm also not thrilled about traveling with this swine flu thing going on. If the drive wasn't 25 hours, I would easily rent a car and drive home. ?

    Are you in Utah right now? We ski in Park City frequently and if you're able and haven't done it, I highly recommend making the drive up there. It is beautiful. It will give you something to do and you can just browse on main street and explore some of the ski resorts even though I think they're all closed right now.

    If you like sushi, there is a restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City called Takashi that is really good.

    lol My CD stash is getting a bit large too and I don't have cabin fever just 'ready-for-baby' fever.

    hand over the credit card for your own sanity!  Alternately, continue shopping and just redirect some of those packages this way Wink  Could you go for a walk or to a mall just to get out of the room and away from temptation??

    Yes we are in SLC. I'm so nervous about this stupid flu I'm trying to keep him away from crowds. We went to a Tulip Festival last Friday and people kept asking me how old he was and then giving me these horrible looks when I told them. Oh well.?

    Yesterday we drove up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird. We will probably go up to Park City or up Big C today. My husband is a big snowboarder and this is KILLING him.

    We did go to the best baby boutique ever a few days ago for a new bottle. That turned into a couple more cute outfits!

    We uploaded photos and then hit our monthly limit on our Flickr account. I think the files were pretty big so we hit it quickly... I'm just too lazy to start posting them in different spots.

    You guys must have been sending good vibes our way. Just got the call and we are flying out tomorrow morning! I think this is a record for our state. We were told that they are very slow and somehow we got the okay the same day they got the papers. Crazy! We are so excited to go home and get adjusted.?

    We were going to go to Park City this evening but now we are going to pack. Yippee!?
