My stupid a** DH

We are now in a huge fight because DH insisted on eating mushrooms from our yard! WTF!!!!! He insists that he is some kind of mushroom expert and has correctly identified them as safe. That's bs DH!  So he did it...after a long fight and understanding that I thought it was a bad idea.We shall see how it goes. Angry

To make matters worse, he sauteed them with garlic...Our entire house reeks of garlic. It's so f'ing strong. I've had terrible m/s all day long the last thing I want is garlic house. Thanks dh you are just awesome.

    My reaction was also: WTF? 

    Yikes. I hope he truly does know what he's doing, but he's still dumb for doing it. Sheesh.

    And anytime my DH just HAS to cook bacon or Steak-umms, I make him open all the windows and I go to the basement for a while.

    Bad Bad Bad idea! What was he thinking! Mushroom "experts" die every year. A friend of ours picks mushrooms all the time and then poisoned everyone at Christmas. Thankfully everyone was just sick but still.

    DH and I had a talk about garlic a few weeks ago. Unless I eat it he can't eat it (if I eat it I figure I won't be able to smell his awful breath).

    oh my god, men are so dumb. I can understand your concern, but I have to say-- it's actually a little funny that he is SO thick-headed, he insists on eating mushrooms from the yard. I mean, why on earth would someone think this is a good idea? And then to sautee them. It's like asking for trouble.

    I really hope DH is alright and doesn't get sick or anything... and you'll have to come up with some way to get revenge. Maybe threaten to eat soft cheese or unpasturized milk in front of him....

    WOW..a few months ago my DH was complaining about how salty his soup was. Turns out it was condensed soup... I asked if he had put in a can of water and he looked at me as if I had four green heads. "You don't add water to soup"..he says.

    Um..you do to CONDENSED soup...

    He continued eating it because he didn't want to be wrong and then had a stomach ache all night..

    WOW....
