Beating a horse that was dead a loooong time ago

But I still laugh hysterically when I think about it. Anyone remember the girl who tried to compare drinking caffeine to drinking alcohol while preg? I wish I had OP.

A glass of wine once in a blue moon is excluded from this. In her argument it was more like if you allowed to have certain amount of caffeine what about alcohol, or something like that.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

    Nope but it makes me think of this woman we learned about in HS health class who was told by her Dr she could have a glass of wine a night. The baby ended up getting Fetal alcohol syndrome and the lady tried to sue. It ended up that she'd "save up" her glasses of wine a night for a week or so and drink 7 or 8 glasses in one night. Idiot!

    I remember a chick who compared drinking wine to smoking pot...I think she wanted to pass a law against pregnant women drinking wine or appoint herself Chief Deputy or something. Her logic was that pot is bad and punishable, so since wine is bad it should be punishable as well. Your chick?  Hmm...don't remember!

     (and holy crap - it's been so long since I've posted...I didn't realize that I'll be single digits tomorrow. WOO HOO for AW me!)

    .....ok, silly argument, but aren't there lots of people who think a small amount (and I mean small) of alcohol is ok?  Like, say, all of Europe?
