Oh Clomid, how I hate you

Well, if you actually worked this cycle then maybe my feelings would change. As of right now, cycle one on Clomid did not work. My usual hot flashes have increased in frequency and intensity, my stomach has been upset, I am exhausted and then there are the mood swings. One minute I want to yell and scream at someone and then the next I am crying.

Ugh!

    yeah, i hated clomid as well.  i took it one cycle and had headaches everyday i was on it including one migraine.  when it started off that way again the next cycle i cancelled it.  i too had the hot flashes and then i got this weird pimply rash on my face.  i was O'ing on my own, so it didn't make sense to take it.  i felt like my body was telling me to stop it.

    we are trying on our own this cycle and then if it doesn't work we are on to femara next cycle and then IUI.  GL to you.

    My least favorite part is the bloat.  I found that my symptoms didn't increase when my dose was increased.  I don't like the side effects but I ovulate really well on it and have follicles on both sides.  I discussed Femara with my RE, but since you are more likely to have only one follicle on one side we decided against it.  Side effects are a lot less on it though.  Wish I didn't have tube issues and could handle only producing on one side at a time. DH is not a big fan of the clomid crazies.Stick out tongue

    It wasn't that bad for me.  I did break out something fierce and had mild headaches but that's it.  I might have been moody, but I'm always moody so no big deal there.  Now I just have to wait and see if it works...

    Clomid was great for me.  The only s/e I had was increased energy.  And it made me O.  If I dont' get KU this cycle, I will definetly take it again.  65% of women get KU within 3 cycles of taking it... I think. Those odds are better than I had when I wasn't ovulating.
