I had to take my 1 hr glucose test at around 16 weeks. I failed that one but lucky for me, I passed the 3 hr.
My issue is that I am only (almost) 18 weeks. Most people would not even taken the test by this point.
So, will I have to repeat it down the line?? My reasoning is that maybe it is something that starts at a certain point in pg - which is why they test at a certain time.
Just because I pass now, does not mean that I would pass if I took it later, right?
I would rather just do the 3 hour again at a later point, and not the screening again. Why drink the crap 2x
Don't get me wrong - I DO NOT want to drink that stuff at all, but think I might have to.
Words of wisdom?
Re: When is the glucose test normally done, do you think I will have to repeat?
Found this - may or may not be the answer
In women at high risk of developing gestational diabetes, a normal screening test result is followed up with another screening test at 24-28 weeks for confirmation of the diagnosis.

It is on the list of questions for my next visit - but that visit is not for another 2 weeks
The only reason why I would want to go straight to the 3 hour is so that I don't have to do the one hour only to have to go back the next week to do the 3 hour.
