Had ABA evaluation today-some good news!

It went really well. Since ds initial evaluations just a few months ago, he has blossomed in so many ways, according to his teachers, grandparents and of course us. I was curious to see what the ABA therapist had to say regarding all the new things he has done. Well, she said he is one of the most verbal and skilled children she has ever seen and would consider him high functioning or even borderline autistic. I know and she even said that she isn't qualified to make a diagnosis, but autistic children are what she sees and works with everyday. Of course she still reccomends therapy, which we plan on pursuing.
This is some great and welcomed news for us. It is like a weight was lifted off of our shoulders somewhat.
