So I just started Progestrone three days ago to help finish this horrid cycle....however I got a positive opk today.  Has anyone else ever gotten a LH surge while on progestrone?  I don't know enough about progestrone to know if you will still get all the other hormones like normal.  Sorry if this is a stupid question.

    Typically taking progesterone will interfere with O'ing...my first cycle on progesterone, I had a positive OPK twice in one cycle (LOL), but my temps didn't surge as high as they normally would after O, so I knew something was up....I am thinking that you are probably not really O'ing, your body may be gearing up for it, but it might not happen because of the progesterone...I would still have sex though and temp to see if you have a rise in temp to confirm whether or not you O'd....GL

    The hard part is that the progestrone is making my temps higher anyway.  Geesh.  If it's not one thing I don't understand it is another.  I wish for semi normal cycles so that at least I can start to understand my situation.

    yea, I know...my temps are higher too then they used to be...but use this cycle's temps on progesterone as a baseline for next month temps on progesterone...I know it sucks....hang in there....GL....
