Trying to Get Pregnant

You know what really grinds my gears...

...people who stay back a cars length or more from the line at a stop light.

Why do people do this? What is the benefit? Are you afraid of the line? You realize all your doing is missing the in ground trigger to change the light, right? Anybody have insight on this growing phenomenon?

PS Feeling a little Peter Griffin ish today!

Re: You know what really grinds my gears...

  • DH always gets mad at people for doing this, which then rubbed off on me....PULL UP TO THE LIGHT PEOPLE!

  • We get nimrods that pull 1/2 way into the intersection and stay there through the light cycle... DH purposefully gets close to making them think he's going to hit them, at that point in time, it would be their fault... especially when he's got the right of way to make a left turn...
  • yup. hate this! and most of our lights are sensored - so pull up to the damn light or we may never get a green!

  • I got nothing.

But I like your gear grindin' sexay talk. Wink

  • This pisses me off too!  Also people that do not turn right on red when the chance is available.  I hate driving, it stresses me out too much.  I'm so impatient in the car!
  • I sense some road rage, lol.

Yes and Im only half as bad as my DH and about a quarter of my mother. I swear people are just idiots and really shouldn't be allowed to drive.

I'd also like to know why I can't drive holding my phone up to my ear yet it's okay if it's a Big Mac with the coke between my legs while yelling at my kid in the back for spilling fries and reading directions to go somewhere! Ooooh posting this is making my road rage worse!!!!!

  • Sorry, no insight.  But I do hate this too.  I get all up on their bumper, which usually makes them move up because they become more paranoid of me than they are of the line!  Try it :)
