We told our parents

Here are two completely different expressions!

We called the MIL on Saturday and told her over the phone, her words: "oh i thought you were just going to raise puppies the rest of your life"  WTH!!!

I was going to my parents on Sunday for a baby shower for my cousin and so i picked her up a Willow tree angle figurine that was for grandmother.  she total didn't get it at first (she was think about my brother who will make her a grandmother for the first time in June) i had to say "mom he's not the only one making you a grandmother!"  her and my dad screamed and just kept saying "oh my goodness!"

    Wow...I hope MIL was joking!  Still, kind of a screwy response!!

    lol, i dont know what i would have done if i got MIL's response...haha

    willow trees are my FAVORITE!!  I have so many of them

    Oh wow what a response from MIL. We aren't telling the IL's until we are 12 weeks and I can't even imagine the response we will get. I don't think they will be too happy as they want their precious daughter to be pregnant.

     We told my parents this weekend and they were beyond thrilled. My mom is already shopping for it.

    Stange reaction from MIL.  Your mom sounds excited though.  At least it's out in the open now so they can share in the excitement!  Congrats!

    That is totally something my mom would say! Before I met DH she would always tell me, "Maybe if you gave up on spending time with your horses and your dogs you would find someone!" WTH, what does one have to do with the other?? Stick out tongue

    Congrats again!  I can't wait for the day to experience that, no matter what the response!!

    she already calls our dog her grandpuppie and will call and after she is done talking to us she will ask to put the phone on speaker so she can talk to her!  this coming from a woman who never had pets and still won't get one even though she lives alone and is retired!
