Ladies: Quick question: for those ttc.. did you stick to your old obgyn or did you deside to start over with a new obgyn? for those who stuck with their old obgyn was it because the doctor knew your medical history.. and for those who started over with a new obgyn.. was it because it was too hard to go back to where you had your loss.. if you wouldn't mind sharing.. i appreiate it.. thank you

Re: New Obgyn or Old Obgyn
I switched to a new OB but in the same office.
The new one was the actual dr who delivered, so she's not totally new, but I feel like I have that connection with her.
It is easier not seeing the person I saw through my pregnancy though, IMO.
I am in the process on switching to a new ob/gyn. I had been with the old one for a long time they were fine for just the normal yearly exams but I felt like they treated me like just a number during my MC. My new ob/gyn was recommend by a friend. It is a smaller more presonal office then what I had before. Plus now I have bad memories of the old office and don't want to go back there.
I am switching obgyns. I had no real ties to the one I was going to and really didn't like how they handled my miscarriage. I've had a personal recommendation from a friend for another one (there are only 2 in town)...but I've also heard bad things too. I think I'm going to give them a try.
The problem in my town is there are only 2 practices and you can't just use one doctor (or two in the practice) and they both seem to have their fair share of jerks.
I'll be sticking with my old OBGYN. She was absolutely incredible throughout the entire thing and I could not have asked for a more supportive doctor. Now that we've been through three losses together I don't think I'll ever switch. She's also had multiple losses herself which helps.?
She even sent me flowers, gave me her cell # and called to check up on me a few days later each time. She is AWESOME.?
