I have never used a lawn mower. And with the H at work, I am going to attempt to mow.

    Be careful and wear jeans with closed toe shoes.  I know that sounds like common sense, but you will be surprised how many people do not do it. Flying rocks, paper, etc hurt when hitting your legs.

    I hate to mow the lawn.  When I first bought my house 4 years ago (I'd had a townhouse before), my parents bought me a lawnmower for my birthday.  There is a priceless picture of me not so pleased at the idea of getting a mower as a b-day present. 

    To top it off, my parents brought over beer and watched me mow the lawn for the first time.

    I've never used one either. And DH refuses because he was always forced to do it as a kid. We live in a condo just so we can avoid yard work.?
