newbie saying hello

Hello ladies! I've been lurking for a few months. I have never charted. I have not read TCOYF. I plan to do both.?

I had my Mirena IUD removed 2w ago and am waiting for a "normal" cycle before we start.?

I thought I would be one of those oh-we'll-just-let-nature-take-its-course type of people, but I can already see that this will not work for me. I read into everything & will start charting when AF arrives.?

Thanks - me too. Google is not my friend on this. Reading horror stories of people who didn't get their period for months after IUD. . . eek. ?

I thought the same thing - and then as soon as I went off BCP and didn't get knocked up right away, I started charting/temping/etc. People warned me for years that you can go most of your life not wanting to have a baby, and then as soon as you decide you do, it is too hard to be patient!

I had Mirena for 5 years and had it removed 2.23.2009. I had a normal cycle the first month, and have ovulated each month since. I would definitely read TCOYF before you plan to start charting...it makes the process much easier!
