  • Start charting, then you'll have a better idea on what your body is doing.

Your dr may have you and your H get some tests done to check on both of you.

  • Loading the player...
  • Are you charting?

If you're not, I'd suggest you start.  You can pee on OPK"s  and have sex all you want at the "correct time", but without charting you have no way of knowing if you're truly ovulating.  Also what you think is correct timing may actually be way off.  GL!

  • charting may open your eyes to things you never would have known...i suggest it!

  • Ovulation tests do not tell you when you O, they tell you that your body is gearing up to O - doesn't mean you are Oing or did.

Your doc will probably send your husband for a SA.... other then that I'm sure the ladies around here can tell you a lot more about they can/will do.

    Welcome & Good Luck!

  • if you start charting, it will help you figure out what's going on with your body.
  • You did an ovulations test with your doctor? Just one?

Most of the ladies here chart to track their cycles and ovulation (or lack there of). Seeing that your past the year mark and don't have the accumulative information many of us have from charting our cycles, your going in unarmed. I think you may just need to let the doctor take the lead and double check later what they tell you.

Sorry i've got nothing for ya!

  • I can't recommend enough the benefits of charting to people I know TTC.

Also Taking Charge of Your Fertility is a great book, read it, its very helpful.

Charting will tell you when you're Oing so you know if your timing is correct. OPKs tell you that your body is gearing up to O, but only charting or ultrasounds can actually tell you that you DID O.

    GL!!

  • Check out www.fertilityfriend.com. They have a free online charting tool. Charting will help you understand what is going on with your body better.

You may not be ovulating at all, even if you got + OPK's.

  • She will probably do bloodwork and get DH a Semen Analysis. You should chart so shae can see what is going on. I gave my charts to my dco at our first fallow up appt and he was very happy and started meds the same day.

  • Thank you so much ladies. i was charting for the first 7 months and then we got married and it was toooooo many things at once so i took a 2-3 month break.

I am going to start Charting again, i did not realize that this was very helpful.

    Thank you!!!
