Hi! I have been a lurker for awhile now, and decided it was time to join. I think a lot of the girls on here have great advice, and am looking forward to getting to know some of you.
My DH and I got married in September of last year, and just recently decided to TTC. I went off BC in November, and am still trying to get my cycle regular.
I do have one question: I have been cramping since I O'd over a week ago and am kind of nervous what it could be. I am currently not charting, but am going to start if AF does not show next week.

Finished my BC in December. Cycles still pretty irregular.
I don't know that I actually ovulated since I haven't started charting yet - I'm going to try without charting at first because I'm the type that charting would make me anxious. However, I got my first positive OPK on Friday, along with some cramping. I had pains consistently through Saturday, and I still feel a little "sore" on my right side. Doctor says that's nothing to be worried about as long as there's no fever and the pain was only mild (severe pain could be a cyst rupturing if you have them - along with possible nausea and fever).
Unfortunately we can't tell you anyting if you aren't charting. We'd just be guessing, at least with a chart its educated guesses.

We apparently have the same time frame for things. My DH and I were married in September and I went off the pill in November. Have been TTC since January. I finally feel like this cycle has been somewhat more normal and I'm hoping we were successful. As for your cramping, is it severe cramping or just mild? I think if it's sever I would probably call my doctor.

I can't guess on the cramping unless you know for sure you ovulated (i.e. BBT charting, bloodwork, etc.), but it could be related to ovulation. Or it could be gas.
If you're basing ovulation on OPKs, you can get multiple positives in a cycle; and if you're relying on the calculators, they only deal with averages and most people aren't.
