And the one my mom keeps bringing up is that the more you burp, fart, or have heartburn, the hairier your baby will be. According to this, I'm going to give birth to a monkey!
If you like salty foods, it's a boy and if you like sweet it's a girl.
If you have bad m/s, it's a girl.

MARY REYNA BORN AND PASSED AWAY JULY 31ST, 2009 AT 23 WEEKS.
GOODBYE SWEET BABY...I WILL MISS YOU FOREVER.
***AFTER 17 WEEKS ON BEDREST***
This is a super cute book that I found last time around. ?And I actually found something's to be true - broken out like a teenager, the hair on my legs grew slower, and that I was eating a ton of food - all turned out to be a signs of a boy and they were right.
If you carry high, it's a girl, if you carry low it's a boy. Those were the only things that were true for me. In everything else, I had identical pregnancies and had one of each. We'll see how this one goes.

The most recent one that I heard was changes to your face/skin. Not neccessarily the breaking out, but if you get a dry skin patch or a skin tag on your face, it is a girl.
Well I got a dry skin path on my eyelid and my SIL *swears* I am having a girl now. o0o0o0oK.
Also, I had bad m/s with my first 2 pregnancies and have 2 boys. This pregnancy I haven't had any (so far -knock on wood). I *must* be having a girl then. LOL
My FIL said in Russia they predicted the sex by DH's age, your age, the months you were born and the theory that your blood renews every certain number of months.
According to this - I will only ever have boys.
Life is either a daring adventure or it is nothing at all.
And the one my mom keeps bringing up is that the more you burp, fart, or have heartburn, the hairier your baby will be. According to this, I'm going to give birth to a monkey!
My first pg, I had the WORST heartburn I've EVER had in my life. My DS was born with a FULL Head of hair--never lost one piece of it either. His hair was actually long enough to spike when we brought him home. So, I'm a believer of that one!!
The only one I know of is the heartburn and baby hair and they have been linked together now. Caused by the same hormone or something but who knows their old wives tells for a reason.
They are all crazy. My Mom looked a bunch up on a website and tried them all on me last pregnancy... the results of the OWT tests came out 50%/50%... I thought that was funny!
Re: Pregnancy and old wives tales
I heard breaking out meant girl!

If your hair is dry, you're having a boy.
Or, if you don't have m/s you're having a boy.
Not true from what I've heard...
the way you are carrying.
If you like salty foods, it's a boy and if you like sweet it's a girl.
If you have bad m/s, it's a girl.
the best way is to go online and do old wives tales quizzes-
But they are far from the truth!

I've heard the exact opposite. If you have bad m/s it's a boy because the hormones are so different from yours.
Either way... it's a bunch of bull heh.
I heard that a girl will take away your beauty...a.k.a breaking out like a teenager, your hair is limp, really bad m/s, etc....
but a co-worker of mine had all of that and she is having a boy, so I guess it's not true.
One of my co-workers had me hold her baby girl and said that if the baby's fussy it means I'm having a girl and if the baby's calm I'm having a boy.
Before I was pregnant, her daughter was a perfect angel with me, and now she wants to get away as fast as she can!?
