What do you do for exercise? Do you have a home gym, used DVD's, etc? There aren't many gyms close to where I live and I need to get my butt in gear. Wii fit is not cutting it for me.
I use wii " My personal trainer" and my treadmill and elliptical. Although the elliptical has been neglected lately. Wii fit wasn't enough for me but the personal trainer really kicks my butt.

I don't go to the gym. I teach ballet and pilates so I get a lot of exercise from that. I also walk a lot and DH and I bike ride.

I walk with friends or alone. I've read online that walking is the most efficient calorie burning exercise and helps to burn belly fat. The best way is to look up a program that incorporates walking, power walking, running in intervals. You burn the most calories while increasing your heart rate, so if you keep changing your speed you will get the biggest bang for your buck. I also use Wii fit for toning. HTH
I can't stick to the same thing, I get bored, I use the eliptical at home, or a video,or walk in my neighborhood. Also I found that our On Demand has a free zone and there are exercise videos on there, I love the pilates ones.

I use the P90X DVD series. It is great because there are about 12 or 13 different programs, so I don't get bored with it. I've been doing it for about 10 months now. My husband does it, too. I can't handle little aerobics bunnies cheering me on and saying "come on, ladies, now SQUEEEZE! Feel the BURN!" I much prefer a dude yelling "Git yer friggin knees up!" But that's just me
I really need to get a wii fit. It seems like you all use it.

I do both. I go to Jazzercise which is awsome cardio and toning, but on days I don't feel like doing that I either walk on my treadmill or go for a walk outside if the weather is nice.
My DH and I just started running (if you can call it that--maybe just really fast walking that looks like jogging). We have a plan we do 3 times a week: w1--run 3 min walk 3 min repeat 5 times

30 Day Shred and we have an Eliptical and Tread Mill in the basement. Don't use those as much as we should, but it's nice to know they are there if I want to use them! I like the exercise video though, it's quick, painful and there are 3 levels, so I'm not doing the same thing over and over and can keep rotating.
I have a gym membership, but haven't gone much lately. I walk my dog every day and have a Wii fit, but I've gotten bored with it recently. I need to get my butt in gear!
I don't. There's a really nice gym close by that I'm longing for but it's too expensive so I've opted for whatever's free. I take my dog for a walk every morning. I don't know what kind of cable you have but I have comcast and they have different shows and programs on demand and they have "exercise tv on demand." which is a bunch of different 20-30 min exercise programs. You could check out your cable to see if they offer that. Ours came with our basic cable package.
w2 run 4 min walk 4 repeat 5 times w3 run 5 min walk 1 min repeat 5 times w4 run 6 min walk 1 min repeat 4 times w5 run 7 walk 1 4 times w6 run 8 walk 1 2 times w7 run 11 min walk 1 2 times w8 run 25 min w9 25 min but run faster.
Get it? Confusing? But it works we are on week 4 and I have already lost 5lbs!
I don't. I run outside 3-4 times weekly, I run about 4-5 miles each day. Then I do pilates and yoga at home in my living room. I make myself sign up for road races to give myself motivation. Otherwise I would be a lazy butt!

DH and I go walking about 5 miles or so... I also coach so there's some 'work out' involved in throwing kids over their heads and making sure they don't get hurt.
I hate the gym! I don't understand being on a machine going nowhere. Plus the wasted time to travel to and fro. I usually just juog/walk for my exercise with my dog. Or try to lead a more active life in general.

The free on demand was mentioned a few times. I know we have it but Idk what is on it. So I will have to see! TY!
I don't anymore. I walk and do yoga in my living room. Hopefully once our neighborhood pool opens back up, I'll get my butt in for some laps this summer.
We use the biggest loser DVDs. My husband has lost 15 lbs between doing the dvds and watching his calories. We use spark people for exercise ideas and to keep track of calories.
After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011! 7lbs 13oz 20 inches long ">
Ive been doing interval running on the treadmill and weight/ stability ball classes at my gym... up until the weather got really nice. Now I am walking my dog 3+ miles and doing at home toning. If youre looking for a DVD workout, the 30 day shred is great.
I have a treadmill in my basement. I motivate myself by DVRing shows I like and then watching them while on the treadmill. I take a yoga class once a week and use free weights and an exercise ball for strength training.
Get a big puppy (Rocco's getting to be like 25 lbs at 16 weeks!) who doesn't like to climb up or down stairs, but must go outside (which includes stairs) forcing you to carry him around.
When cleaning your house, where wrist or ankle weights. I did this last weekend, and I was kind of sore afterwards.

::raises hand:: I have never ever gone to a gym. I agree with Boxie I just don't get it?? I try to walk my dog but I'm exhausted after working and chasing 2 young boys every day.
I run outside, bike outside and do small weights at home. I have the Wii Fit too and I have hope for this new program coming out called Active but not 100% sold on it yet.

I used to go regularly and now I'm just too lazy. I need some motivation.
I will have to check this out. Thanks!

I run at the high school nearest to our house, 3 x a week. 1.5 miles, and do a whole lot of stairs.
DH is my motivation, he runs 2 x a week and plays basketball 3 x a week.
i used to have a personal trainer @ a private gym but it was costly, so we cut the expense.
I heard of this! Congrats on losing 5 lbs!

My exercise includes walking our dog a couple miles every day.
I also really try to eat healthy just because I know my daily routine does not include a trip to the gym anymore.
**BTW, chart looks good...how you feeling about it?**
My recommendations:
