My doc recommends 50mg/day at the opposite time of day you take prenatals. Today is my first day trying it. I did my 50mg of B6 this morning and I've been doing my prenatals at night.
So far, no help today. I'm thinking (hoping) maybe it'll take a few days.

B6 helped me a little. It took a few days. My doctor said not to take more than 75 mg including what's in the prenatal, but I've seen lots of people on here taking more with no problems. GL!
I have been taking it since the week before Easter. I take 50mg in the am and 50mg in the pm. It's worked great. I think I could probly stop taking them soon. I'll probly continue to take them for another couple weeks tho. It only took about a day b4 I felt some real relief.
Re: Taking B6 for m/s?
I'm doing the B6+Unisom combo to combat M/S and it seems to be helping. The dosage I use is as follows:
AM: 50 mg of B6 + 1/2 a unisom
Afternoon: 50 mg of B6 + 1/2 a unisom
Evening (at bedtime): 50 mg of B6 + whole unisom
Wow did your doc recommend that dosage? Just wondering cuz I'd be afraid the unisom would make me fall asleep in the middle of the day.

Well, just taking 1/2 doesn't knock me out. I do feel sleepy but a lot of that is just early pregnancy anyway.
