Phillies game went sooooo late last night. It was a great one, 24 runs scored total, lots of back and forth as to who was winning, and 2 grand slams from the Phils! We didn't get home until 11:30. I haven't stayed up that late in MONTHS. This is going to be a loooooooong day sans caffeine. I guess I'm going to have to go for the half caf.

    What an amazing game!  Today's fatigue will be totally worth it.  :)  We haven't gotten to a game yet.... can't wait!

    It was a GREAT game!  I wasn't there but watched most of it.  I have never been at a game where a grand slam was hit, let alone 2 in one night.  Amazing!

    Haha, yes. Actually, its not a ballpark food. It's from McNally's a tavern established in the early 1900's... it is a few blocks from our house, and one of our favorite places to go.

    Haha, yes. Actually, its not a ballpark food. It's from McNally's a tavern established in the early 1900's... it is a few blocks from our house, and one of our favorite places to go.

    We love McNally's too.  The Schmitter is a bit much for me... I've never had one at the ballpark, although I know they have them there somewhere....

    Kie, I never noticed you were from the area! We didn't get any dollar dogs, we sit in the 100 level behind first base so all of the lines were really long. I did eat a huge pint of water ice though, haha.

    Agreed. I never order one myself, but I've had a bit or two of DH's. I am a huge fan of the chicken cheesesteak and chicken corn chowder from McNally's... oh, and the choc cake!! OM NOM NOM...

    Sounds like fun, I HATE that Comcast has the rights to all the games and I can only see the ones on MyPHL 17 :( I did get to see both weekend games at least!

    I have direct TV (and hate it!) my dad has it too, but he will specifically get cable in the summers just to watch the phillies. although this week they're finally getting HD cable installed now that it's available in our area. (I'm in the Lehigh Valley so comcast isn't available at all, but you can get it through the local cable company).

    We have the Verizon Fios and are able to get the games. That was a concern when we were getting Fios but the guy told us they have some sort of deal w/ Comcast. We also have the sports package and that might have something to do w/ it.

     Great game last night though! I wish we could've been there!

    that might be what my dad is getting, I forget. I think we can get that at our house but we still have that stupid service contract with DirecTV to deal with :(
