I have a bunny in my eye...

So I'm committing to making a baby item (hand knit) each cycle until a baby arrives.  I am currently working on a matinee coat for Harper.  (pic below even though previously posted).  It is made from angora.  I have a frickin' angora bunny hair in my eye and am dying.

I now have visions of my screaming baby with bunny hair in her eye. 

Perhaps a bad choice.  Grrr.  I won't be deterred from my knitting mojo.  I must carry on:)  I do, however, need one of those emergency eye wash thingys from high school chemistry class.

    L.M.A.O. I like the every cycle thing....I should do that. Right know I am crocheting a blanket for my MIL for mother's day...I have a couple of knitting projects (baby blankets)started too. I am a beginner and scared to death to do a sweater....but I have the yarn and pattern for one.

    I think its great that your knitting that.  I would love to learn how to knit.  I am a good quilter.  Maybe we can trade... cute little bunny outfit for a baby quilt?  Then again..who am I kidding... I haven't quilted in months.  Something always comes up.

    Fitz - we should have a crafters pact.  I will talk you through a sweater.  Totally worth it.  I still have the one my mom made for me to come home from the hospital in.  If it weren't burn stained from our house burning down I'd put in on my munchkin too.... sigh.

    That's awesome. I'm in. I also want to learn to quilt...but DH thinks that I am going in too many directions.Tongue Tied

      I pieced a sock monkey quilt for the someday baby's room.  I haven't had it quilted yet.  But I will:)

      What good is life if you aren't headed in too many directions? 

    I'm sad.  I just had a vision of me going to work tomorrow with frozen veggies to ice my woo and an eye patch on due to the bunny hair.  Will I look like a syphalitic pirate?

    JUVENILE court at 930 a.m.  I could totally give a warning speech about how knitting and stds are hazardous... not that i have an std... but most juvenile boys wont be afraid of giving their girlfriends yeast infections. ( I totally blame Alex and he accepts said blame because he is lovely)

    Yeast Infections SUCK. period. I had a terrible one after I had mono in college...it just kept coming back...it was terrible. But GL with the Juvies ;)

    You've inspired me to do the same every cycle.  I have so many WIPs and no motivation to finish - and then I read this!

    Maybe a good bit of the fuzz will come off as you work with it and when you block it...

    I have no patience to knit...I guess I can't say that since I've never tried, but I'm pretty sure I would keep messing up and it would drive me nuts!!!  By the way abrtane, love your new siggy pics, you guys are too cute!
