Okay, I'm doing a "can a contrx feel like____" post

I think I've had some random ones, probably just irritated from my internal.

?

I have the tightening in my belly, along with menstrual like cramps down low, but also accompanied by a feeling that I have diarrhea and lower back pains (like when on your period).

?

Can a contraction feel like diarrhea pains also??

    I am a ftm but this is what my contractions feel like...especially today since I had my internal I've felt like I had to go to the bathroom all day

    Yep, I've had a few and that's exactly how they feel.  Yuck...hopefully it will lead to some progress for both of us!

    I had diarrhea when I had contractions....so yes in a way! :)   My stomach definately tightened and my back hurt.  (this was preterm labor)   Lately I've just been getting more period like cramping with lower back pain.

    I keep getting that, but no diarrhea. It's kkind of annoying lol. If i'm gonna feel like it i might as well have the relief! :-P?

    My contractions felt like awful menstrual cramps, all low. No back pain. I hope that doesn't mean back labor, lady!!!

    I don't even want to answer this question b/c I'm too jealous that you could potentially be in labor while I sit here on my ass still pregnant.

    Absolutely contrx can feel like that. ?I felt like that after each internal. ?Didn't turn into anything until this afternoon...I'm timing contrx right now :-)

    Mine feel exactly that way....like a cross between gas/#2 cramps and period cramps.  I really thought I was having gastrointestinal issues for a while until it happened while I was at an appointment and the NP, who had her hands on my tummy at the time was like, "yup, that's a contraction"
