We do ours in the crockpot, and this just reminded me I forgot to buy it at the grocery store this week haha.
Anyway, this is what we do. Everything goes in the crockpot; it's just easier.
- About 2 lbs of pork loin. Add green taco sauce and salsa verde or regular salsa, which ever you like. We use medium b/c we like the flavor. Add green beans, corn, and olives. Put it on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. It's so easy and we have leftovers for the next day. We eat it with tortillas, but it's good with chips as well.
I am by no means an expert on pork, but I like to use the Stubbs pork marinade and then have Hubs grill it. ?Lawry's Sesame Ginger marinade is good too, but the Stubb's is my favorite. ?My grocery store usually prints oven cooking instructions on the sticker they stick on the butcher paper, so we just do the same thing on the grill (our grill has a temp gauge on the lid). ?IMO no matter which way you cook it, a borderline sweet, Asian-themed marinade is best on pork. ?Ginger, soy,?sesame, red pepper,?etc.
Happy eating!
