did any of you have af right on time (or what you thought was af) the month you got ku?

i was talking to my mom the other day and she told me she had one or two "periods" when pg with my sister so she didn't even know for a couple of months. i know a few other girls who have said this, too, so i wonder how common it really is. also, i don't mean spotting or IB, i am wondering about bleeding just like any other month. thanks!

My stepmom had 2 normal periods before missing one. They weren't TTC, so she had no idea. She said it was the same way with her 1st.

That happened to two of my friends - one was TTC, but one had been trying to get k/u for almost two years so she had kind of forgotten about it. Didn't realize she was pg until she was two and a half months. Oops.

Nope, didn't happen to me. If you're charting, you'll be able to tell if it's a real AF or not by a temp drop.

Yes. Well i had early spotting and thought for sure I was out that cycle. The spotting lasted around CD's 21-23. Then it stopped... it NEVER just stopped. I POAS and saw a faint line. I was in shock!

I've never heard of it happening personally but all of the women on "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" experienced it to some degree.

It's kind of freaky to think about...?

That's what I was thinking. If you are charting, you would know by your temp. If it stays up, then you will know that something is going on.

i am charting this month, so hopefully i won't have a question about it. i was just wondering how common that might be among the ladies on this board.

i personally didn't have any bleeding around that time, but i have read that it can happen.

I got what I thought was a light AF that lasted 1 day. I even used a light tampon... but when I didn't get a full on flow, just spotting for 2 days then nothing, I tested and it was a BFP to my surprise!

Nope no spotting or AF. I was running to the restroom every time I felt a cramp thinking it was AF. I wasn't TTC so after telling my friend I think I'm pregnant she talked me into buying a test and woot BFP.

My mom, when she was pregnant with me, went 5 months before knowing she was pregnant! She had lots of problems when she was pregnant with my brother and even in the delivery. He was fine, but after he was born they tried to have another baby for 6 years and the doctor told her she wouldn't be able to. She actually thought she had stomach flu when she went to doctor and they told her she was pregnant with me!
