I'm really sorry, but. . .

my nips are killing me.

Does this happen to all women during their cycle? Or is this just my hormones regulating themselves after 8 years on BC?

PLEASE let it be hormones regulating themselves. . .because I can't seem to come up with a clothing option that doesn't touch the sistahs.

I'm really hoping that the bad O pain from the weekend and all of this is just because it's the first time my ovaries have gotten any work in in 8 years.

I don't think it happens to "all" women, but it does happen to quite a few, myself included. I get really sensitive nips for a few days right after ovulation.

Sorry, I'm no help. I have this problem EVERY MONTH before AF. And some months I'm super lucky & have the same problem when I'm O'ing.

this was my first cycle off BCP, and mine were KILLING me for about a week in the middle of my cycle, and got progressively better the later i was in my cycle. AF just arrived today, and they are not as bad, but I definitely feel your pain. It will get better eventually...

The times that I ovulated, I always had sore nips in the 2WW.

mine would be soooooo sensitive from O until about 7dpo. Even shower water was excruciating.

I have very small & sensitive breast and mine are tender/sore to different degrees from just before O to AF.

I get sensitive nips before ovulation and for a few days afterwards. Sometimes they ache all of the way until AF arrives.

My first month off BCP mine hurt horribly bad, but haven't hurt at all until this cycle. I think it can vary from month to month what symptoms you're going to have. I've found wearing a sports bra helped a little when I was at home.
