know what he told my mom... that he heard (meaning he KNOWS) that most pregnant women milk it for all it's worth!
Yeah my OLDER brother! WTH! I'm about to rip him a new a$$

i agree with PP... i've been telling my family that I'm gonna milk and it's going to be a long 9 months...they laugh and give me grief, but they still do it... we're pregnant, we should be pampered!
i like the pp answer, we're allowed! ha. my friend's dh told her that none of that crazy emotional pg woman stuff was going to "work" on him. my jaw dropped. i thought she was fixing to nut punch him.

While I agree that we should be pampered and that we deserve it, (Because we do!) I think that theres a line that a few women cross when they are PG. (Ive encountered one of the most laziest PG gals I have ever met and UGH- seriously-)
That depends on the definition of "milking it". Do we expect a little more help around the house and understanding from our spouses and families because being pregnant adds a new dimension to day-to-day life? That, I think, is natural and honestly only fair (at least as for our SOs). If you mean expecting everyone to bend over backwards to accommodate us 24/7, I think you generally only see that behavior in people that are equally prone to it when they are not pregnant. Male and female alike, there are self-involved people in the world. Pregnancy doesn't usually change that.
