So, I'm a graphic designer who's been desperately trying to find a professional "home" for about 6 months. I've been filling in the gaps by doing freelance and contract work, but mostly things that have fallen in my lap.
On Friday, I decided to go all out and actually start marketing myself, etc when I joined on with a new marketing firm that's opening. They will then reference my company as a "partner".
So, 5 minutes ago, I just registed the domain and have been designing my website all morning! OMG!
Coming soon, Punctuate Design Studio.
Re: AW: Omg...
Well, mostly I do a ton of marketing material - logos, brochures, flyers, mailers, emails, web design, blah blah blah. I spent 5 years as the marketing coordinator for a software company and was responsible for all written and graphic work that left the building, basically. When I was laid off, I started doing the same thing freelance. I've designed more business cards than I care to admit.
I recently had a short-term contract with another software company doing the same thing - brochures, logos, marketing shwag and promotional material.
Jane of All Trades all up in here.
