Interesting trip to the ER last night . . .

I was having major major back pains last night and talked to a friend of the family who's a nurse practitioner who told me to go to the ER immediately because it could be a kidney infection and that those progress quickly.

She had me do an HPT to make sure it wasn't a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy which came up with a BFN.

So after being there for about five hours and getting bloodwork and a urine sample done, the doctor comes into the room and says "Well, you actually had two positive tests! CONGRATULATIONS!!!"  DH literally did a happy dance in the middle of the ER!

But I do have a kidney infection . . . and get to spend the first few days of pregnancy laid up in my bed at home . . . 

I know I haven't been de-lurked for long, but thank you all so much for all the encouragement you've given.  You're all so knowledgeable about this topic and so helpful!  Thank you, again!
