sooooo well-rested!

Yesterday was a really off day for Allie with the March of Dimes walk in the morning/afternoon and a dinner at my parents' house to celebrate my brother's birthday at night. She was just exhausted last night.

She went to bed for the night around 9:30, slept until 4:30, nursed and got changed (DH does all night-time diaper changes) and slept again until 7:00. At 7:00, she nursed and got changed (by DH again). After that, DH and I just hung out with her in the bed. She was playing pulling the covers over her head and we were dozing in and out. At 8:00, DH took her out of the bed and let me sleep in. When Allie started fussing for her morning nap around 9:00, DH brought her in to me and I nursed her and we both slept until 11:15!

I haven't been this well-rested since sometime last summer when I was still in the 2nd tri! I haven't faced any of the extreme sleep deprivation of some of the other mamas here, but still...
