I already do, but I nearly cried when he said this.

So, picture this, we're standing in my closet and he's helping find something to wear for a festival that we went to yesterday.

He pulls out several shirts and I tell him that they're too big, too faded, too old, whatever. He points to a stack of shorts and says "What about those?" and I tell him I bought them all 2 years ago and now they're all too big.

He stops, starts turning around in a circle in my closet (it's not that big but it is a walk in) and says "How can you have so many clothes in this closet and have nothing to wear?" (okay, here I'm shaking my head because I'm wondering if he really just said that), then he says "We need to clean out your closet; get rid of the stuff that doesn't fit or is outdated, then we can see what you really have. Because it is very frustrating trying to find something for you to wear in here.".

I'm not married anymore, but my XH used to help me pick out clothes. I am sooo bad at that. I shudder when I think of some of the outfits I have worn to work because I thought they went together.
