caught a woman drooling over my husband

DH, DS and were just at petco. Joaquin was leading the way, with DH behind him and I was heading up the rear.  Way ahead I saw this woman turn to look at DH and she just wouldn't stop, she almost tripped over herself!  She just stood there, as we all got closer she finally noticed Joaquin in front of him, looked back at him and smiled all big...but then she noticed me behind him, saw my belly and then looked back at DH and back at me and smiled big again.  DH was looking was totally clueless...silly little beotch.

  • Isn't it funny? In one moment, you're thinking, "Yeah, I gots me a LOOKER...", but at the same time, you're like,

    "You lookin' at my man??"

I fight with this alla the time. Ladies look at him (kinda hard NOT to), and immediately ascertain my state of attractiveness. Sometimes, I'm not lookin' my best, and I wonder, "Do they think I must be funny?" ...LOL.

YOU, on the other hand, clearly must not fight such insecurities. Both you and the hubs are hotties. Wink

  • You should have grabbed his butt.  That's what I do in situations like these.  And I inwardly giggle and glow in the hotness of my husband.
  • I hate that!  Once we were at a bar together and some girl had the nerve to ask him if he was there alone.  He was standing right next to me, and we were with a big group of friends.  Back off, beyotch!  Stick out tongue  LOL!
  • Happens to me a lot too... I kinda love it!

This is the kind of stuff I do when I notice women staring at DH! It really makes me laugh because he never has any idea whats going on!

  • Heheh, very funny. But your husband does look rather cute Wink
  • I love it when people check out my DH.  I had to say people b/c DH has been hit on by both sexes...and it happens a lot.  He's in college so there's a wide variety of people.  Just last week a gay guy asked him if he knew he looked like Tom Welling.  hahahahaa....it cracks me up!  I love being married to hotness!!

I'm not the jealous type though...I just smile when it happens and actually have been known to act like I don't know him and talk about his hotness too!

  • My DH was a DJ in a nightclub for years, so I had to deal with this more than I liked too.  Drunk girls just don't take no for an answer, and on more than one occasion I had to get biitchy with them.  Now that he's out of the bar, if anyone checks him out I just smile.

My hubby gets this too! If there is a gay guy around he will get hit on. That I'm not so proud of. But I love it when girls check him out. Funny thing though is he is 6 years younger than me, and can look young for his age, so I love it when little teeny boppers get all giggly over him...cracks me up.

  • I just wanted to say that I love your DS's name.  DS's name is Joaquin too.
  • That happens to DH and I all the time. We will be standing right next to each other, and some girl is standing there dumbfounded staring. Mostly teenagers and 20somethings, and if they notice me arching an eyebrow and smirking, they give me a dirty look. Some girls are brazen though, they stare, see me, glare, and stare again. We both work Ren Faire, and DH did a stint as an EMT (you want women of all ages tripping all over themselves? put DH in uniform). At Ren Faire, women have boobs spilling out everywhere, and some of them are pretty damn hot. I have seen women literally fawning all over him, practically rubbing on him, and he very casually continues what he was saying and finds any way to call me over or "there's my hot wifey! Honey can you fit these ladies in bodices?" Apparently Men do it to me too, DH saw one run into a street sign once. I'm so oblivious.
  • My hubby NEVER gets looked at...and never has...i was his first EVERYTHING including hug from oppisit sex (excluding family)

You have to be joking.....right?  You are adorable!  Me on the other hand.  I feel the same way. DH gets way more looks than I do and being pg just makes it worse.  I also think women are by nature more scandalous than men (not saying DH isn't hot because he totally is) but I think most men know better than to ogle.

  • My DH gets this from all kinds of people too... He works full time but is also back in school part time so the little college girls hit on him sometimes.  But sometimes women his age or a little older will check him out and flirt with him too.  And occasionally he will get checked out by gay men (there was this one incident in Williams Sonoma where he was buying me some cake mix and the guy ringing up the sale was trying to flirt with him and TOTALLY ignored me standing there... LOL).  I normally am flattered and tease him a little when he's getting checked out (DH is very shy and quiet so many times he doesn't even notice) but if there's a girl who is particularly aggressive than sometimes I do get jealous.  The college girls are the worst!  You'd think the fact that he's 10+ years older than them and married would be a turn-off but quite the opposite I think!
