Making a "1" onesie

Eowynmn isn't responding--so does anyone else know how to do this? You get fabric, cut out a 1, and then....? What magic potion do I buy to make it stick to a onesie? Wink

I'm guessing it's not stitch witch b/c that seems like a pain in the_ass.

I'd say heavy duty fabric glue.

wonderunder or heatbond.

i had to do it like 4-5 times before i could get it to stick. i am craft-challenged.

once i finally got it, it does look supercute though! I haven't outlined it yet because I have to go buy some more flippin iron on rhinestones. those things suck btw, but the rest are stuck on good and i don't want to start over!

i think she used some kind of heat bond glue and then when that was cooled, she outlined the 1 with fabric paint.

ask at the craft store and they should be able to point you in the right direction. and then post pics!!!

I remember LOTR saying she used wunderunder or however it is spelled.

i'm not sure how fabric savvy you are - it's on a bolt with the fabric, not like a package. lol, i had to ask where it was and the lady looked at me like i was nutty for not knowing what it was.

I used some fat quarters (little things of already cute fabric) for the fabric and Lite Steam and Seam 2 to iron the circle and the number. I did sew around both to make sure it stayed on when I washed it. Here's the one I did:
