  Depends on how you say it honestly. My neighbors daughter is Avery and I think she says it more like a 3 syllable name (we're teachers so we kind of do it automatically), but I've met Avery's before and heard it cut short into 2 syllables.

  This is the girl's name we had picked out. 2 for us. We were going to pronounce it "Ave-ry".
