Hello girlies

This is the first time I've been on the computer of had the TV since we got to MIL's 6 hours ago.  I was reading out back but then we randomly got a proper thunderstorm, it never thunders here at all!

At first Emma ran out back to bark and "chase away" the thunder but then she decided it would be better to just cuddle in instead.

    Emma is really cute trying to chase it away.  Hmm, not much new here.  I'm switching to GP board and my paper.  I posted earlier this morning about DH's realization.  I thought he was too cute.  But, later today, I'm going to watch some baseball with my parents!  I'm so excited to go to the game.  Time to dust off my team jersey!

    No kidding??  Dang.  Sad  For baseball, I'm a fan of D-backs.  It was so cool they won the night of our anniversary.  I'm hoping to follow as much game as I can.

    Yup, we are going to Thailand in June so we won't be stateside this summer.

    I'm a Reds fan first, Red Sox fan 2nd.  DH is Red Sox 1st, Red 2nd.  We get games on our satellite but a lot of the time they don't start until midnight so we DVR them and then never watch, lol.

    LOL.  I got a solution for ya...  Cut up half of a jersey from each team and swap 'em.  Sew 'em up and ta-dah!  You got both teams!  Problem solved!

    I really hope the rain stays off, we are making grilled citrus chicken I got off of epicurious.com, baked poatoes and corn on the cob on the grill, unless of course the rain comes back and we have to use the stove :(

    Not weird at all... I love to go shoot. My gun is feeling a little neglected because it hasn't been fired since before we moved down here (in August).

    Emma just had to get her bottom washed because she had poo stuck in her butt hair, nice.  Then I was seriusly a matador chasing her down trying to dry her ass, oh the wonderful joys of Yorkies.

    Hia!  We've had a very productive day!  We got the gifts for our groomsmen all sorted out and dropped off at the engravers- however, FI just realized that he spelled "July" wrong in Welsh (I wasn't much help there!)- and is now running down the street hoping they haven't closed yet...

    Oh my, LOL.  It seems a lot of the ladies here have Yorkies.  I have not met one before.  I'm a medium sized dog person.  I grew up with a pug, then DH's family had a Shih Tzu, then now we have our Boston Terriers.  My grandparents had labs, a popular choice for my families.  Oh yea, my aunt has this um...  hairless dog that reminded me of a hairless rat.  Chinese something...

    Yorkies don't shed, so they can have issues with butt hair, lol.  Emma just need a haircut.

    We had a border collie, mutt & white german shephard growing up.  We just decided on a small dog since we live in a flat and also since we both have allerigies one that doesn't shed!

    Ah that would make sense!  I have allergies as well and I felt like I wanted to stick with those breeds I mentioned (pug, boston terriers, or shih tzu) as I seem to be fine around them.  Pug probably shed the most.  Shih tzu would have to have routine haircut too.  Our BTs doesn't shed and I bathe them.  We will probably take them to the groomers to have 'em trim their nails.  Cosmo's nails are mostly black and they make me super nervous!  Leila's are white and clear.  Easy!

    Emma doesn't like her feet being touched so there is no way I'd ever even think of attempting it myself!

    She goes and gets haircut 2-3 times a year sometimes more.  We try to keep her hair longer in the winter since it's colder.  She never looks like a show Yorkie or anything though.

    OMG I almost drank the marinade the chicken is in, hmm maybe not a good idea, but it smells sooo good!

    Yea I don't fancy food posioning!  It's on the grill now, if it's tasty I'll post the recipe up on my blog!
