Awesome BRU experience re: completion!!!

I decided to go ahead and finish off my registery today now that my showers are done (and I'm just the kind of gal who wants to get everything done and set up before the baby gets here). I also live an hour away from the nearest BRU and knew that I wouldn't want to go down there right after having the baby and having to struggle with everything (besides... who wants to complete your registery AFTER the baby gets here)??!?!?

Anyways... to the good part. I finished up my shopping excursion and got in line to check out. Before I put my things on the table, I asked the cashier, "I've heard about a 10% off registery completion coupon, but not too sure about the specifics. Am I eligible for that today?" She then told me that it comes in the mail 5 weeks after your due date (which I kinda already knew). I told her, "Well... I live an hour away and that would be too crazy to try and get that done after the baby gets here, so eh.... I won't worry about it." She then told me to hang on for a second and when she returned, she had a 10% OFF REGISTERY COMPLETION COUPON in her hand!!! Woo hoo! I got to use it right then and there and saved a ton of money! Thank God for nice people who pity pregnant women! ;)

    I thought the completion coupon usually came 2 weeks before your due date?  Does anyone know when BRU or Target's coupons are supposed to arive?

    I got my target one 2 weeks ago. I already have everything though :( so I am going to wait til baby comes and then just add a bunch of stuff and use it then. Mine is good until August

    I got my 10% off Target coupon today, its good til the end of August.  Of course at this time everything I registered from Target that was able to be purchased was and most of my Babies R Us registry( which as some of the more necessary things, bottles, sheets, diaper genie) was not purchased.  At least there is more time to move some things over to Target if by chance they have it there, but most of the Babies R Us stuff we can't find at Target.  I really hope the Babies R Us discount comes sooner, after my shower tomorrow I will have a good idea of what I will still need.
