2 boy names to run by you...

WDYT of Deacon?

I go back and forth on it. I don't seem to be crazy about it until I hear it somewhere and then I waiver a little. Thoughts?

Also, how do you feel about Mekhi with my other kids? I prefer Malachi, but can't get H on board. And then he brought up Mekhi. I think I like the sound of it, but not the look. How would you spell it? That's how Mekhi Phifer spells it...

    Your kids are adorable! I like Deacon best, I think it 'flows' better with your other kids names but mejhi could grow me. It's cute too.

    Love Malachi.  Deacon is okay.  Mekhi is okay sounding, but until you pointed out Mekhi Phifer (and I remembered his name from the Eminem song) I couldn't figure out how to even start pronouncing it

    Deacon definitely "flows" better with your other children's names, but I do like Mekhi.
    Mom to an almost 4 y/o and an almost 2 y/o. In process of growing our family through adoption.

    I don't like Deacon because it makes me think of deacons at church. For me, it's like naming your son Pastor.

    Mekhi is good.

    I like Deacon.

    Mekhi is OK - much better than Malachi imo.

    Ha. No, Fredalina... just baby fever reeeeeally bad and as soon as H gets back from Afghanistan going to get the ball rolling. Plus, we are both obsessed with names and it takes forever to agree, so it will probably take us the whole next year :)

    BTW- totally forgot about the crib. Absolutely did NOT mean to blow you off. Not at all sure what happened there, things have just been crazy. SO sorry. Do you still need it or did ya'll work something out?
