We are planning on having our 13 month & 2 month old baptised at the same time this August.

How did you ask the Godparents to be? I want to ask my brother & sister-n-law. But I don't want to put them on the spot to make them feel like they have to say yes. I thought a phone call would do exactly that. How should I ask? card....email...any suggestions.

    That is so cool! What a special and unique time for your family.

    We asked our godparents in person b/c they happened to be visiting at the same time when DS was coming home. Maybe a sweet card from the kids would be nice as a momento? Do you really think they will decline?

    We had two good friends of ours and I asked them by making a simple card that had a picture of DS on it and on the inside it said will you be my godmother/godfather.  If you are more comfortable with a phone call though go for it!
