Maclaren Stroller Recs needed

I have a 2 year old DS and am looking for a good lightweight stroller. We have a Combi and hate it.  I'm debating between the Volo, Triumph and Quest.  Any recs/pros and cons. I know the Volo doesn't recline. That is the only con I have found.

Re: Maclaren Stroller Recs needed

  • I have the Quest and really love it.  I bought a triumph and returned it because the recline was very minimal.  If recline was not an issue-i'd be totally into the volo--the lightest and cheapest of the bunch, but still a well made Maclaren!

  • I bought a Triumph when DS was 6 months old and loved it, he never had any problems sleeping in it and actually preferred it over the full recline jogging stroller for napping. Went to NYC for a long weekend last month and DS *forgot* to pack it, aaah thats what I get for leaving it up to him. Anyway bought the Volo in a pinch and love it! it's sooooo light and super easy to push, DS has taken naps in it but is a bit to old to stay in a stroller for long periods of time. I haven't touched the Triumph since we got back.

  • correction: DH forgot to pack the stroller, it would be great if DS was packing for me :)
  • We have the Quest and I absolutely love it, it's my favorite stroller of all the ones I have.
  • I love our Quest. I think the recline is worth the extra cost.

  • Just got the Triumph..DD is 2 and doesnt nap in a stroller so recline isnt needed
  • We have the Volo and the Quest.  Both are great strollers!!  I use the Quest most often because that is what I keep in my car (the Volo is in DH's car).  If you don't think you need the recline, then go with the Volo; if you use the recline a lot, definitely get the Quest.
  • I have a Quest and I love it! If I were buying a new one for my 2yr old then I would probably go with the Volo. I have never used the recline feature and I've used my Quest since Jack was 3m old. He's now 30m. I like the size and comfort the Quest has given my boy over the years. If you aren't planning on any more kids then go with the Volo.
