would you eat rum cake?

sort of a first tri-ish question, but rum cake does retain about half of the rum used in cooking it so depending on how much they use to start with, it does certainly have alcohol in it.

the thought hadn't actually crossed my mind to be concerned until my mom questioned it. mom's a worry-wart about everything, but it leads me to be curious what yall think.

I personally wouldn't just because when I've had it, it tasted VERY much like alcohol so I don't think it burns off like with other foods. I'm hyper-vigilant about foods though and haven't had a sip of alcohol while pregnant...I'm still sure the amount in a piece of cake wouldn't be enough to do anything bad.
