Anyone else a ruiner?

I love surprises. I really do. But I constantly ruin them. I snoop for presents and I went through DH's pack the other day wondering if he was planning anything for my b-day next week.

He is sneaky and on to my ruining ways.

I even snooped a few times for my engagement ring (when I felt like it might be coming). Thank god I never found it, I didn't REALLY want to ruin that surprise. ?

Why do I do this? Any other ruiners here?

    It's not that I ruin or have to ruin suprises, I just like the thrill of being snoopy and believe me, I'll snoop any chance I get if I know someone has a secret.  When I was younger, there was hardly a year that I didn't know what I was getting for Christmas.  Shh...don't tell my mom!

    Me!! I usually catch on to things. I think I can usually tell when people have a secret or are planning something for me. There have been very few instances that someone has truly surprised me. And I LOVE surprises!!

    i am. i like certain things to be surprises but only if it's exactly what and when i want. dh kept my engagement ring in a safe for 4 months before giving it to me, but i found the picture from the jeweler (i designed it) on his computer before. i wish i had found the ring so we didn't have to do the whole proposal bs. geez, after reading what i just wrote, i guess i'm kind of a ***.
