Ok, so you didn't say cake, but I brought this Tres Leches cake in for my coworkers once and they loved it! It's super rich so it feeds a lot of people. I made it a little differently than the recipe states (whipped topping instead of the heavier icing), so let me know if you want me to post my revisions.
I don't bake too often for my coworkers, so it's really ironic that you posted the Tres Leches cake ... I've made that (same one) once before for them .... and many time for other occasions. It is soooooo good.
I'll definitely check out those cupcakes on Jamie's blog ... they sound delish.
Too funny. I *love* that recipe. I've made it several times for family events and my sister just requested it from my mom for her birthday cake last month. I actually may make it this weekend because we have some guests coming in. It's so good and so easy! Now if only there was a way to make it fat-free...
I like making just a typical box brownie and putting the Coconut-Pecan frosting on them - sort of a German Chocolate Brownie. They are typically gone by the end of the work day. If I'm feeling super energetic, I make my mom's homeade frosting, but usually I just buy a tub of frosting from the store.
haha Jocelyn ... I have had your blog post starred ever since I first saw it - those look amazing. I guess I shouldn't have suggested brownies .... I made them cheesecake brownies last week. However, next week, I will have all new coworkers to woo, so I'll keep that recipe in mind
I'm a PW, but I'm bored and these look really good. There was a caterer in Cincinnati that had bars similar to this and I would eat like 20 everytime I was there. I'd probably substitute the cookie crust for a graham cracker crust though.

I also love the creme brulee cupcake recipe from Jamie's blog.
Man, I haven't baked in forever!

I love Ghiradelli brownie mix with a tablespoon of instant coffee granules mixed in. And underbaked by 5 minutes.
DELISH.
Cookies or brownies you say? How about both!
I know that NDMolly and I love these.....I can't remember if it's one you've tried already.
