Urology update

H went to the urologist today. I guess he felt some veins that might not be so Kosher, so he ordered an ultrasound, blood work and a second SA. I don't know how long before we actually get results on any of this, the US is on Friday, bloodwork whenever H gets off his ass to do it, SA sometime soon, and second urology appt in a month. H is being a big fuucking baby though. ::sigh::

    Good luck.  Hope he gets all his testing done soon.  My DH acted like that at first too.

    TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!

    Glad that things are moving for you. I hope you DH snaps out of whatever freakout he's having and man up to some bw and u/s. I know he has it in him!

    Mine did 4 years ago when I found a lump on his ball. It was just a plumbing malfunction and, according to all the tests, shouldn't case any issue with his fertility. He goes back once a year to check on it, as it is still there. The uro said it could grow over time, possibly to the size of the testicles itself.

    TMI, but just so you know your DH isn't alone is having his junk examined.

    anyway, at least you know what's up next.  Sorry he's being a baby.   I think mine wouldn't be too thrilled to have that region inspected that closely either.   Poor men.   (Like we don't go through 10 x's worse!)

    MH's (infertility) urologist thought he felt/saw something too, and was pretty sure he had a varicocele. ?He had the u/s done and there was nothing wrong at all. ?The urologist was surprised. ?I'll be curious to hear what happens with your H.?


    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    Mine did, too - so your H isn't alone.  I think they might have even measured his testicles? Because one of the reports we got had some measurements - but I don't remember if it was from the physical exam or the ultrasound.
