  • Wow... lemme go look in our DVD drawer, because that's pretty much all I own!  I truly am locked in the 80s!

I will say "Ditto" to pretty much everyone else.. with Better Off Dead as my #1 all time fave... and some of the silliest movie lines ever!   I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS!!!!

There are some movies that are just so silly and obscure, tho... here are a few that may not have been mentioned yet:

One Crazy Summer  (Pretty much anything with a young John Cusack in it!)

    Bull Durham

That one with Val Kilmer where he's the geeky college guy and they fill the house with popcorn????  My hubby loves that one

    Secret of My Success

  • I'm surprised there's not a mention of Dirty Dancing!!!
  • BrideBuddies... that movie your husband likes is Real Genius.

And I keep forgetting that The Princess Bride came out in the 80s. It's one of my favorite movies ever. But I was thinking of movies that had a definite "80s theme."

Others I like are Adventures in Babysitting, Weird Science, One Crazy Summer, Summer School (anyone remember that one?), Just One of the Guys, Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, Night of the Comet (very bad), Girls Just Want to Have Fun, The Secret of My Success, Mannequin, Say Anything ...  and that's just hat I'm thinking of now.
