St. John's

Wondering if any of you are delivering at St. John's in Maplewood. If so, have you received a bill PRIOR to your delivery for your copay? I've been hearing some of the 3rd Tri talking about getting billed pre-delivery.

Just curious!

    I delivered DD at Woodwinds but she needed to be transfered to the special care nursery at St. John's so we were there for four days.  I got all of my bills after my delivery.  I'm not sure how they could pre-bill.  Usually copays are only for office visits.

    They billed afterwards.  I think the billing prior to deliver is common in other areas of the country.  I think we recieved our first bill 6 weeks after DS was born.

     Whooops! I meant Deductible!!! Not copay! Sorry!! I have family and friends who have also delivered at St. John's and were not billed until afterwards. I was just curious if anyone else ran into this.
