Tinsely is the name of a dorm where I went to college and Tyndall sounds like the name of a building also. Taylor is cute, but spelled with an "o" not an "e".
I knew someone named Tinseley but it's nms at all. Tyndall is terrible.
"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasured day you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart...let me hold you while I may."
I love Tinsley and thought about it briefly but decided it sounds too much like someone mispronouncing "Lindsay" . I could see my dad asking me a million times "whats her name again? Lindsay? Tippy? Tipley?"
Thanks for the comments, but I MEANT to spell Tayler with an "e", as the "-or" suggests a male name.
And for calling someone's suggestion "stupid", I hope it's just because you are having a bad day and you aren't normally this rude on a board.
As far as I am concerned, Taylor is a much better girls name than boys...my friends Brothers name is Taylor and people always think he's a girl before meeting him. I don;'t think there is any need to change the spelling. I love the name.

I don't like any of those. I know a little girl named Tadea (pronounced "Tuh-DAY-uh"), and I think it's super-cute. Her parents call her Dea (DAY-uh) as a nickname.
I agree that "taylor" is unisex. I wouldn't worry about changing the spelling to make it more feminine. IRL I know 2 Taylors, both girls! I think it would be great with a soft mn like Rose or Grace or Elise.
My DD's name is Tessa but I also like Teagan. Taylor is more of a girl name, I always think if it's a girl with a boy name it's ok but a boy with a girl name is another story.
Thanks for the comments, but I MEANT to spell Tayler with an "e", as the "-or" suggests a male name.
taylor is actually much more commonly a female name than a male name, you should always check trends of a name before considering it for your child. my name is taylor and nobody ever thinks i'm a guy.

I hate all those. Tyndall looks like Tylenol. Tayler is spelt wrong. Tinsley sounds like a nn for a child. I cannot picture a woman in her 40s named Tinsley.?

Don't ask for opinions if you don't want peoples' honest opinions. We aren't going to "beat around the bush". That being said, I don't like any of your names.?
Re: girl names beginning with a "T"
I'm not a fan of any of those.
My sister's name is Tana (rhymes with Donna) and I've always liked her name.
Taryn, Talia/Thalia, Tabitha, Theresa (nn Tessa) are others I've considered.
Taylor

When I hear Tinsley I picture a little girl - not really a name that is mature for when she gets older.
Tayler is cute - I'd spell it Taylor.
Tyndall - nms

Not sure where to go from here.
If you don't want to hear people's honest opinions, don't post.
If you're going to name your kid Tayler, go for it. Just be prepared that she'll have to constantly correct people every damn day.
I think these are cute. A friend named her little girl Tenley, which I also like.
this. you can't be super sensitive on this board, especially if you're asking for people's opinions.
The only one I like out of those is Taylor (spelled with an O).
There aren't a lot of good T names out there for girls. Here are the only ones I can think of...
Talya/Talia, Tatiana, and Teresa
Do you have to pick a name that starts with a T?
Talyah
Tressa
Tamera
Terri
Tori

Taylor, Tabitha, Tracey, Tara, Tarin, Tatiana, Teresa, Tessa,
dear God, there are too many hormones here... I'm going back to my 1st trimester board where people are actually nice to one another...
I don't care if you like the names or not, thanks to you all who gave me constructive ideas...
