Crazy thought but I really thought it would be easy to...

concieve the month after the D&C.  Instead, just like clockwork AF showed exactly 28 days past the D&C. Sad
Mom to A bouncy 4 year old boy A high spirited 2 year old girl And a sweet 11 week old baby girl

    I think that most of us hope (and try to convince ourselves) that we will get pg right after a miscarriage, and it is SUPER disappointing when it doesn't happen. My DH thought that would happen for sure...for some reason he is surprised that I am not KU yet.

    I too wanted to get pregnant right after my d&c. But lately I have noticed quite a few women on here who have lost their 2nd pregnancy that was conceived the first or second month after a m/c.  They have all been really sad (naturally) and it is heart breaking to read.

    Of course not everyone will miscarry if they get pregnant again so quickly; you just have to be mentally prepared for the possibility of another loss.  I truly think I will now tell my patients to wait three months (which our literature is still not clear on) if for anything to be mentally prepared.
