So tonight about 2.5-3 hours ago I went to put something away and stretched up. I felt what I can only describe as a tear right under my ribcage. I literally thought my uterus had detached itself from something else. After about a half hour of no kicks, and not-quite-pain in the area I called my Dr. They were already closed so I had to call the "emergency line" and have the on-call OB call me back. He called, talked to me for a few minutes and basically said not to worry that I just pulled a muscle, but that if I don't feel any kicks by tomorrow morning to call again.
20 minutes ago I had a BH, 5 minutes ago I had a second one. I'm stressing out because usually I have one like every few days... I've never had 2 in a day, let alone so close together. I have felt kicks, but now with the BHs I'm starting to stress again. Would you call a second time or am I over-reacting?
Re: stressing about calling dr. WWYD? (long)
I should add - the reason I feel bad about calling is because he was OBVIOUSLY at home with his family the first time I called - I could hear his kids in the background. This was the first time I've had to call about anything and 90% of me says I'm just being parnoid - the other 10% is scared to death.
If it is really upsetting you - call.
I tend to believe my Dr when he sys everyting is ok - but if your intuition says otherwise it cannot hurt to call again.
