Private Registries

I'm not sure if this is the right board to post this one, but here's my questions anyway! I want to start researching and registering for gifts at BRU so I have a running list for myself and can be prepared. I DO NOT want this registry to be viewable to any of my friends or family who might be looking for it this early. Does anyone no if you can make a registry non public on the BRU website? I know when I registered for my wedding shower at Macys I had this option, but wasn't sure if it was the same for BRU. Thanks in advance for the help!

I don't believe so.. but you could always make one under a false name/email etc.

I'm not sure whether you can make a registry private. I created a wish list & set that to private. That way I could just add stuff that I wanted so that when it was time to register I already knew a lot of what I wanted/needed & didn't have to go through the decision making process again. It really saved me some time when it actually came time to register.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm going to create one under a different name that way I can go back and edit it to my real name for when I want it to be public!

no, BRu doesnt allow you to do that. I tried it once & had to end up calling the 800 number so they can delete it... then i rememberd I should have just changed the name. Target allow you to do it, and only email it to people, as opposed to just letting anyone look it up. But i didnt register at target.

I'd make it a private BRU wish list, then transfer over to a registry when you're sure of what you want.
