eight people and one mouse later....

I was on the phone with Dell today for over an hour.  Multi-tasking of course.   

The last PC we ordered came without a mouse.  OK, must be a glitch.  I checked the packing slip and it said "no mouse".  WTF?  Who orders a computer with no mouse? 

So I go online and investigate the order and sure enough, our already custom built PC that we've ordered 100s of in the last few years has "no mouse" selected.  Um, that's stupid.  So needless to say I had to call them. 

Getting them to send me a mouse for the one that was already shipped took 25 minutes!  Are you freaking kidding me?  Then it took them 7 people to get me to the right people to change the order for the future. 

About 20 minutes later I say "hello, is anyone there?"  and this voice comes back and says, I'm looking for the mouse that you already have on all your other machines.  me: "Honestly, I don't need to have the same mouse that we already have.  I've spent way too much time on this matter for a $10 piece of equipment.  Just pick a usb optical mouse to go with our system and let's call it a day."

In the end, the sales guy gave us an additional 7% off all our future orders because of the hassle.  We already get 22% off, now we get 29%. 

Woot!
