Please help...
It just seems neverending the things that make me nervous I guess. Since my miscarriage, I am constantly analyzing everything about this pregnancy. One of the things I have heard is that, morning sickness is a sign of a healthy pregnancy. Yet I have NONE! My only symptoms are occassional cramping (mild like light AF cramps) which aren't as frequent lately and sore boobs. Please ease my mind or prepare me for the worse...
Re: RP: Symptoms v no symptoms
For me, and many other women on this board, it seems that m/s showed up right around 6 weeks... so enjoy your last few days of eating like a normal person. Symptoms are different for everyone and every pg, so don't worry if you do or don't have any particular symptoms.
I read the same thing about m/s and healthy pregnancies.
I did not, nada, nill, niltch have m/s with this pregnancy. Only threw up a few times after I smelled something foul or ate red sauce. By no means do I consider that m/s and I can count on one hand how many times I puked. As you can see from my ticker, baby is continuing to grow healthy!
I also have 2 friends who never had m/s, both have healthy babies 1 is 14mo old and the other 8mo old. My neighbor also had no m/s and she is 22 weeks.
So, I guess my point is that it's not true! m/s does NOT mean a healthy pregnancy.

Please do NOT go by "m/s is a sign of a healthy PG." That is such a load of B.S.
I did NOT have one day of m/s and my DS is now a healthy 18 month old. My mom had me and my sister and she never had any m/s......my aunt (my mom's sister.....) has two kids....she was never sick.
I don't know who ingrains the thought that m/s=healthy PG.....I hate that!
FYI: I had pretty bad m/s with my last PG (I wasn't throwing up.....but I was very nauseous all day long.....) and I had a m/c at 10.5 weeks......so symptoms are meaningless to me....
GL!
Don't read toomuch into the MS mean a healthy pregnancy.
my 1St pg that I lost at 10.5 weeks I was sick from the day after BFP to 2 months after my D &C. I think MS is more how your body deals with hormones nothing more.
Thank you all SOOOO much!!! My SIL is pregnant right now - about 24 weeks or something - and she said something like that to me. I don't know. I am trying hard not to obsess and just enjoy but, as you ALL know, it is so hard! It is very nice to have a place like this to go to so that I can obsess in the privacy of the boards!
All my love and good luck to you all!
I have had almost no symptoms. ?Sore nipples but that was only for 3 days and hasnt happened for the last 3. ?I am a little crampy today but I panicked(in all fairness i'm a little uhm bound up...)and called my doc and she laughed at me and said its no biggie. ?I have an apt friday but she didnt seem concerned enough to see me sooner.
My doc said morning sickness is not a sign of anything except that you have mornign sickness. ?She said I'm just lucky that I dont have any major symptoms. ?Breathe deep, I'm sure its all good.?
I'm a little late, but wanted to reply...
I have NO symptoms (right now at least). It's still early for me, but with my previous losses I had TONS of symptoms. Now I have none, and I've had great numbers and just got back from seeing my little implanted bean on an u/s. So with 2 mc's and tons of symptoms, and this one being more successful than the others and with NO symptoms, I'm a true believer that not all pregnancies are the same
That said, I'll take morning sickness and every other symptom in the book, just to have my healthy baby! Hang in there!
