I would just search this because I know it's been asked a million times, but I can't seem to find the search tool. There is one, right? Question: I have several types of trial dipes prepped and ready to go. I've read on here that some people use Aveeno butt cream with their CDs. Is that okay for every type of CD, or do certain types do better with certain creams? Here's what I've got if you want to address it specifically:
BG 3.0
Thirsties, Goodmama, B4, and KLo prefits
Indian Prefolds
KLo contour
TIA TIA TIA!

Great tip! Thank you!! And with this method I can continue using my beloved triple paste when needed.
You'll find you won't really need creams much with cloth. All of DD's rash issues went away when we started full time cloth diapering. Be VERY careful with Triple Paste though, make sure the liner you use is big and completely covers any area that could touch the diaper. Triple Past absolutely does not wash out. I actually had to throw away the liners we used when using Triple Paste because it remained caked on after several washes. It's a great cream when you have a problem, but I wouldn't use it regularly with your diapers.
I too was a triple paste devotee. But I haven't used it with cloth. If the rash gets awful (which has been rare since our big switch) I slather him up with triple paste and put a disposable on. I still haven't found anything that works as well as triple paste.
Ones that I'll use with cloth diapers with a fleece liner are California Baby, Aveeno, and something like Earth Baby Angel Bottom Butter (I may have gotten that name wrong). Those still make me a little nervous because we did go through one serious repelling problem and I'm not sure what caused it. Could've been one of the creams. So I use sparingly and go for a disposable if the situation requres a major application.
Under normal circumstances, I don't put anything on him.
We use Method diaper cream, no fleece liners, no repelling issues.
That being said, we hardly ever use it and we use very little of it. You'll be amazed at how little diaper rash your LO will get while wearing cloth. The bottle of Method cream we got as a shower gift, I wouldn't be surprised if it would last us through DD's whole first year.
