Please give me some hope

DS is definitely stretching out the amount of time before his nap since he is only taking one now. Before, we had a great schedule and I knew when he needed a nap. Now, it's a complete guessing game and it's wearing me out. How long did it take before your DC got settled into a one nap a day schedule? DS didn't go down till after 2 today. Yesterday it was more like 11:30. I am just going crazy!

Re: Please give me some hope

  • I hate to share this, but DS was down to 1 nap for 2 weeks and now is back to 2...sometimes.  It's a total guessing game here also!

  • DD was down to mostly one nap at around 10 months or earlier, which was so frustrating!  Anyway, we tried making her nap for longer and sticking more strictly w/ the schedule, and we were able to figure out when her best single nap would be, which is between 10 and 11.  I think it's best to try to figure out when best nap time is and then stick with it.  Good luck!
